Orme Associates have been appointed to dispose of Union House on Victoria Street by the current owners PR Regeneration Ltd. Currently vacant and most recently in use as offices Union House has planning permission for a 21 bed boutique hotel with associated restaurant and additional restuarnt to lower ground floor.
Green Plan Energy
Orme Associates have been appointed to acquire a numer of sites for Green Plan Energy, a company producing renewable energy through the gassification (intense heating) of virgin and waste wood to produce electricty. There will be several plants in the North West region, each one employing up to 12 people. Sites of 1.5-2.5 acres are required. The company also plan to grow fuel crops in the future for use in the plant.
